Introducing Humanity’s Community Portal

bg

We are very proud and excited to introduce the Humanity Community portal!

The Community portal is all about getting our customers more involved in the process of improving and further developing the Humanity platform.

It provides an easy and transparent channel for not only listening to the feedback and suggestions of our customers but also acting upon their ideas in order to create new features!

Important: Please note that the Humanity Community should be used to suggest new features only! If you want to report bugs and other problems related to already existing features, the process remains the same, contact support@humanity.com.

How to Access the Community

In your Humanity app, click on your profile avatar at the top right and click on “Request a Feature.”

1

You can also access the community page directly by going to https://community.humanity.com/.

Use your Humanity account credentials to sign into the Community portal.

Posting a Feature Request

Note: Be Sure to First Perform a Search – Search the Community first to see if your feature has already been requested. If it has, feel free to join the discussion and give your own suggestions.

If you believe that this feature should be a priority, you can let us know by upvoting the request.

You can vote for any existing suggestion/feature idea by clicking on the heart icon.

2

Submitting a New Feature Request

If you were unable to find a similar feature request to yours, you can create a new one.

To open up a new topic, click “Select category.”

3

Once you’ve selected the module you’d like to make a suggestion for, click on “Enter your suggestion for Select category” to open the editor.

Open up a new topic outlining your new feature request and be sure to include as many details as possible about how you envision this new feature working. This will get the conversation started and allow both our team and other customers to get involved.

Providing as many details as possible would really help our development team in assessing whether your request can be implemented and in eventually bringing that feature to life.

You can further format the content of your request by inserting images/screenshots to better illustrate your request or suggestion. Once you’re satisfied with how your request looks, submit it.

4

If you’d like to get notified whenever someone comments on your requests, select “receive notifications for every comment.”

Using Filters

On the main Community page, there are useful filters available that can help you to refine your search. Quickly filter feature requests to see those that we’ve recently added to Humanity.

5

We do our best to update our customers via blog posts and newsletters any time major features are added, but this list will allow you to see all of the new features that are being added, big or small.

New Ideas: By using this filter, you can view the most recent feature requests submitted by other Community members.

Top Ideas: This filter shows you the feature requests prioritized according to the number of upvotes each has received.

Hot Ideas: Use this filter to see which features are garnering the most active discussion from our Community members.

My Feature Requests: This filter shows you the feature requests posted by you and other managers from your organization.

You can also filter the feature requests by their statuses.
