NelsonHall has named TCP a Leader in its 2026 Workforce Management: Employee Experience Transformation (NEAT) evaluation, with Leader status in two categories and Innovator status in two more.
TCP was recognized in four categories:
- Leader – Overall Workforce Management
- Leader – Scheduling & Workforce Planning Capability
- Innovator – Multi-Country Capability
- Innovator – Employee Experience Capability
What NEAT measures for workforce management
NelsonHall is a global analyst firm that researches and evaluates technology providers across HR and workforce management (WFM), publishing findings that organizations use when they’re making sourcing decisions.
The NEAT evaluation scores providers across two axes: how well they deliver immediate benefit today, and how well-positioned they are to meet what customers will need next.
Vendors are assessed against 36 criteria in total. 30 cover offerings, delivery capability, market presence, and results achieved for clients. Six cover service and investment levels, combined with direct interviews of vendor clients.
In NelsonHall’s framework, a Leader scores high on both axes, strong today and well-positioned for what’s next. An Innovator shows particular strength in meeting future client needs, with more room to grow on immediate delivery.
Landing Leader status in two categories and Innovator status in two more is a specific read on where TCP is strong and where we’re still building.
Why NEAT matters beyond the recognition
NelsonHall’s evaluation points to TCP’s depth in time and attendance, employee scheduling, and labor optimization, built for high-volume, shift-based operations rather than adapted from something else.
It also calls out TCP’s ability to handle complex workforce environments: multi-state labor rules, collective bargaining agreements, and industry-specific needs like K-12 education and public safety. That flexibility carries into scheduling too, from dynamic models to full rotational shifts.
What the NEAT evaluation says about workforce management
NelsonHall’s broader market analysis reinforces these workforce management capabilities:
- The market segment challenge – Supporting increasingly complex labor, scheduling, and compliance requirements across industries is one of the biggest problems WFM providers face right now.
- The segment success factor – Deep industry expertise, paired with capabilities built for varied workforce structures and compliance needs.
As WFM keeps shifting from a static, once-a-week task to something adjusted throughout the workday, standalone WFM providers are expected to stay relevant specifically where complexity begins: shift scheduling, union requirements, compliance, and industry-specific needs that broader HCM suites don’t fully address.
These are all areas where TCP was recognized in NelsonHall’s evaluation.
Where TCP’s future meets WFM
On the buyer side, NelsonHall’s research lists labor forecasting, frontline flexibility, compliance across locations and jurisdictions, coverage visibility, and integration depth as key priorities driving WFM purchases in 2026 and beyond.
These priorities align with TCP’s Leader and Innovator recognitions and the strategic direction of our organization.
TCP has roughly 4 million users across ~37,000 customer organizations, through TimeClock Plus, Humanity Schedule, Humanity Time, and Aladtec, covering everything from K-12 districts and public safety agencies to healthcare, hospitality, retail, and government.
We’re right where we want to be as a company leading the charge into the future of frontline workforce management.
What’s next
This recognition is a checkpoint in the path ahead.
We’re still building toward the same thing that got us here: giving the people who run frontline operations more control over the parts of the job used to run them.
This means continued work on AI-assisted scheduling, labor optimization, and decision support, so operations leaders get more automation without losing the final call. It also means deeper investment in forecasting and workforce analytics, so staffing decisions get made with real visibility into labor cost pressure, not a surprise in next month’s numbers.
In short, great work has been done by our TCP team this year, and there’s more work ahead. We’re glad to have it.
