Tech Tip: How to Modify Existing Repeats and Rotations
As a Greek philosopher once said, “Change is the only constant,” and that certainly applies to employee schedules. Despite having regular schedules and rotations in public safety, schedulers still need to modify rotations at times. These modifications are needed when:
- An employee needs to be moved to a different rotation, schedule, or position.
- An employee’s current rotation is ending, and the employee will continue working the same rotation.
- An employee is on an indefinite leave of absence.
This process is different from swapping shifts on a temporary basis, and thankfully, it is easy to address these needs in Aladtec. In this Tech Tip, we provide step-by-step instructions for schedulers and managers to follow to make changes to regular schedules or rotations.
Step 1: Select Repeats and Rotations in the Schedules drop-down menu.
Step 2: Select the employee whose rotations you want to modify.
Step 3: Click on the Modify button at the bottom right of the page.
Step 4: Click Modify Rotations once you have made the necessary adjustments.
