TCP Software announces TX-RAMP Level 2 certification for Humanity and Aladtec

Dallas, TX – March 12, 2024TCP Software, a leading provider of time, attendance, and employee scheduling solutions, today announced that dynamic employee scheduling solution Humanity and 24/7 public safety scheduling solution Aladtec have successfully achieved Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) Level 2 certification.

The Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) provides a standardized security assessment, certification, and continuous monitoring protocol for cloud service providers. Achieving Level 2 certification affirms that Humanity and Aladtec have been vetted and proven to comply with these stringent security requirements, as measured by SOC 2 Type II assessments.

TCP previously announced the TX-RAMP Level 2 certification for TimeClock Plus, an automated time and attendance solution, in February 2024.

“TCP remains deeply committed to the security of our products and services,” says Jaime Ellis, VP of IT and InfoSec at TCP Software. “We’re thrilled that all of TCP’s flagship products have now achieved TX-RAMP certification, as it reflects our continual prioritization and investment into the security of our solutions.”

TX-RAMP was formalized by Senate Bill 475. It mandates that Texas state agencies can only work with cloud service providers that can successfully pass NIST-based security assessment (NIST 800-53) by the Texas Department of Information Resources. TX-RAMP applies to all state-funded agencies, including state higher education institutions. Humanity and Aladtec have both been certified until March 2027.
